  • What types of vehicles do you work on?

    We work on all types of commercial vehicles from class 8 semi-trucks to light duty pickup trucks and everything in between. We also work on automotive vehicles, all forms of trailers, powered eqiupment, forklifts and some construction equipment.

  • What maintenance do you perform?

    We complete all services from bumper-to-bumper. This includes but is definately not limited to; PMs, DOT inspections, chassis lube, oil changes, all forms of diagnostics, major engine repairs, clutch replacements, A/C repair, light body/paint repairs, fabrication, welding, aftermarket installation, and ofcoarse we work on all types of systems.

  • Can you diagnose computer problems?

    Absolutely. We have the required software for a veriety of vehicles and will acquire new software as needed. All of our mechanics are experienced in diagnosing CEL, MIL, ABS, TCS, aftertreatment and all other computer or software problems.

  • Do you also work on trailers?

    We are equipped to work on all sorts of trailers ranging from 53' box vans, hydraulic low boys to small equipment carriers. 

  • Do you work on equipment?

    Ofcoarse. We maintain forklifts, generators, compressors, liftgates, reefer units, motorized pumps, trailers and some construction equipment. If it has a motor, engine and/or wheels; we will fix it and keep it going.

  • What services don't you perform?

    We do not perform windshield replacements, frame repair, major body/paint repair or towing services.

  • What are your limitations?

    Although we do perform all normal maintenecance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, there are a few things that we cannot do including manufacture recalls and warranty claims.

  • Are you really 24/7/365?

    We operate all days of the year and all hours of the day. This is one of our core standards and ensures the job is done quickly and efficiently.

  • Can we contact the mechanics directly?

    Sure, we encourage our mechanics to directly communicate with the customer. We do not employ a dispatch or use complicated software. This ensures a quick turnaround without the misunderstandings. 

  • May I contact you anytime?

    Yes, we are on-call 24/7 for your convenience. We take calls in the middle of the night, on weekends and holidays. 

  • Are you fully mobile?

    Completely, all of our services can be performed on-site or roadside. No need to take your unit to a shop or tie-up an employee.

  • Do you take roadside calls?

    Yes we do. This is a service we perform for our regular customers. Getting your truck off the side of the road becomes our top priority when called upon. 

  • Do you offer towing services?

    We do not offer towing services to any type of vehicle, with the exception of light duty ball-hitch trailers.

  • What services can you provide to fleets?

    We specialize in fleets and are equipped to handle a large quantity of units. We can create a maintenance schedule for your fleet, timely maintain those units, perform any repairs needed and be there quickly when an emergency arises.

  • Do you only work for commercial fleets?

    Not at all. Although we specialize in taking care of a fleets demand, we also work with businesses and individuals who only have one or a few units to maintain.

  • Is your business licensed?

    Officially licensed to do business in Nevada and Las Vegas. Also our business is registered with the USPTO as an LLC.

  • When was your company formed?

    Mobile Commercial Mechanics LLC was officially formed January 31st 2024. We are a new company, with new ideas and experienced mechanics.

  • Are you partnered with any other entity?

    Not directly, but we have close contacts in almost all positions within the industry including dealership technicians, parts, 3rd party distributors and independant specialists. We also work with other mobile mechanic companies as needed.

  • Can your mechanics perform DOT inspections?

    Yes, all of our mechanics are capable, experienced and meet the requirements per CFR 396.19. We provide an official inspection form and sticker upon completion.

  • Do your mechanics hold a CDL?

    Although we do not require a Commercial Drivers License, most of our mechanics do have some form of CDL. This aids them in diagnosing a problem and verifying a repair.

  • Are you ASE certified?

    Yes we are. The LLC and our lead mechanic are ASE Master Certified to work on every vehicle system.

  • Are you certified to handle refrigerant?

    We sure are, all of our technicians are required to have EPA 608 and/or 609 certification before handling these respective systems. This means we can repair any mobile refrigerant system including automotive A/C and reefer units.

  • Do your mechanics have formal industry related education?

    The owner and lead mechanic does hold a degree in diesel technology along with hundrads of hours of class time and a few handfulls worth of certifications. Although we do not require it from our emplyees and partners.

  • How much does your services cost?

    We operate on the industry standard flat-rate system and only charge $120 per hour for commercial customers and $100 per hour for automotive customers. We encourage you to shop around but are confident that we provide the best value. Please refer to our Pricing page.

  • Can you price match?

    Ofcoarse, if you happen to find a competitor that is willing to charge a lower price than us, contact us and we can negotiate. Price matching only applies to licensed businesses in the Las Vegas area who provide a same or similar service.

  • Are you willing to negotiate prices?

    Typically no, we do not negotiate price because we already offer better value than our competitors. But we would be open to negotiating for repeat customers that would like to utilize our services exclusively.

  • Do you markup parts?

    We markup parts by 10%. This is used to cover fuel, delivery and time spent shopping for your parts. This is standard in the industry although our markup is significantly less than our competitors.

  • Do you itemize small parts?

    We do not itemize small parts that have a total cost of less than $2. This keeps the invoice simple and saves everyone time. 

  • How do you charge for roadside?

    We charge roadside calls similarly to standard work but add an additional fee to include drive time multiplied by our labor rate.

  • Do you charge for mileage?

    We do not charge for mileage. But if we are required to leave the Las Vegas area, we add an additional fee for drive time multiplied by our labor rate.

  • Do you charge for delivery or parts run?

    We do not charge for parts delivery or part runs. That is included in our small parts markup of 10%.

  • What fees do you charge?

    We like to keep it simple, our only fee is for disposing of fluids like used oil and coolant. We safely dispose of these in bulk at recycling facilities.Then this fee is calculated from the disposal cost divided by the amount of fluids that came from the work performed on your unit.

  • How do you bill a regular customer?

    For customers that would like to use our services more than once, we create internal records to keep track of POCs, payment methods, units and maintenance info. Each customer lets us know when and how to bill them, then we automate the process and provide invoices accordingly.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    Typically, we email you an invoice and you pay online with a credit card, debit card or ACH bank transfer. But for in-person or one-time payments; we accept cash, check, Zelle, Paypal and Venmo. Either way, you will be provided with an invoice.

  • Can you provide receipts?

    We sure can. All purchases we make are recorded and receipts can be provided to you with the invoice upon request.

  • What labor guide do you use?

    We use the 'Mitchell 1' labor guide exclusively. It is the golden standard in the commercial truck and automotive repair industries. It ensures honest flat-rate hours are charged to the customer.

  • Do you warranty labor?

    We warranty all labor completed up to 24 months, this guarantees any mistakes made by our  mechanics. It includes labor, parts damaged and incidents occured as the result of the mistake.

  • Do you warranty parts?

    We do not warranty parts as we are not a manufacurer or distributor. Warranty claims should be communicated with the parts origin.

  • Do you accept customer supplied parts?

    Yes we do and with no additional fee or increase in labor charge. This could save you money but be sure to order the correct part and beware of knockoffs. In our experience,  this method has proven slower and more complicated than letting us order parts for you.

  • Where do you source your parts?

    We mostly source our parts from the local OEMs and 3rd party distributors. With that said, we are not limited to specific vendors. We can source parts from anywhere to include out of town vendors or online sources. We only use reputable brands from reputable vendors.
